Bộ phim mở ra 1 cuộc đối đầu thiện ác tay 3 đầy gay cấn với các tình tiết của các vụ án. Mỗi nhân vật của tam giác bí ẩn trong phim đều có mối dây vô hình liên kết chặt chẽ với nhau: cảnh sát Suen, sát thủ Coke và Fong - người bạn gái bỗng dưng biến mất một cách kì lạ của Suen. Với sự góp mặt của 1 dàn diễn viên toàn sao trong phim: Quách Phú Thành, Trịnh Y Kiện, Ngô Ngạn Tổ... bộ phim đã đoạt 1 lúc 3 giải thưởng Kim Mã lần thứ 42: “Nam diễn viên chính xuất sắc nhất”,  “Quay phim xuất sắc” và “Biên kịch xuất sắc”.
